Care & Guides

Regularly sweep or vacuum the surface to remove dust and debris, avoiding vacuums with bristle beater bars. For stains and dust, use a damp cloth and always mop with a neutral pH solution. Avoid scrubbing aggressively or using abrasive tools to remove stains. Place felt pads under heavy furniture, appliances, and equipment to prevent scratches. When moving heavy items, lift them or use furniture movers instead of dragging them across the floor. While Flexifloor is waterproof, it’s best to avoid leaving standing water on the surface for extended periods.

Removal and reinstallation guide:

Flexifloor Tiles and Planks are designed to be versatile, allowing you to easily remove and reposition them without causing damage. Follow these simple steps for removing and reinstalling your flooring:

For Non-Glued Installations

1. Removal:

If Flexifloor Planks/Tiles are not glued down, simply use a floor suction tool or a specialized removal tool to lift each plank or tile upwards. Start at one corner or edge of the room, gently prying the plank/tile until it is loose.

2. Reinstallation

To reinstall in a new space, ensure the surface is clean and even. Place the Flexifloor Planks/Tiles in the new area, fitting them closely together. The anti-slip backing will ensure they stay in place

3. Replacing a Damaged Plank/Tile

If you need to replace a damaged plank or tile, simply lift the affected piece using a suction or removal tool and replace it with a new one. Since there are no clips, you can easily swap out the plank without dismantling the entire floor, unlike most other flooring solutions.

For Glued Installations:

1. Removal

For installations where adhesive was used, carefully heat the glued area with a heat gun to soften the glue. Gently lift the plank/tile using a flat pry or suction tool, taking care not to damage the flooring.

2. Reinstallation

After removal, clean off any remaining adhesive from both the planks/tiles and the floor surface. You can reinstall the product in a new space using glue if desired, or leave it glue-free for easier repositioning in the future.

3. Replacing a Damaged Plank/Tile

If a plank or tile is damaged, you can simply heat the area to soften the glue, lift the affected plank, and replace it with a new one. Since there are no clips, it is easy to fix small areas without taking up the entire floor.

How Flexifloor Planks Stand Out Against the Rest
Flexifloor PlanksHardwood
Laminate
Vinyl
Affordable and accessible, offering a luxury look at a fraction of the cost.

Quite expensive, making it less accessible for budget-conscious buyers.

Less durable, especially in high-moisture areas, where it may peel or warp over time.

Vinyl flooring can wear out faster, especially in high-traffic areas.

Designed for easy, DIY-friendly installation, saving time and money.Requires difficult, long installation and often requires professional help.Once installed, it is not easy to remove or reposition without damaging the planks. Not as heat-resistant and can warp when exposed to direct sunlight or high heat sources.
No special care required, effortlessly maintains its fresh appearance.
Exposure to sunlight can cause the wood to lose its natural color and fade. While some laminate floors mimic wood, the texture and feel are not as authentic.

While vinyl can mimic wood, it often lacks the premium, authentic texture.

Durable and resilient, resisting stains, water, fading and more.

Hardwood is prone to warping and swelling when exposed to moisture.

It can produce a hollow sound when walked on, especially without underlayment.

Not easily repaired once damaged, and often requires dismantling or replacing the entire section.

Versatile and convenient, easily removable, can be installed over other kinds of flooring.

Hardwood can be easily scratched or dented by furniture, pets, or heavy foot traffic.

Replacing damaged planks often requires removing and reinstalling several surrounding planks.

Vinyl flooring can fade over time when exposed to direct sunlight.

Made from 100% eco-friendly materials, a sustainable choice

While hardwood offers natural beauty, it lacks the design versatility.

Its wood-based core usually makes it a less desirable choice for bathrooms and kitchens.

Usually made from toxic and/or non-recyclable materials.

Amazing Floors!!

This flooring is not only beautiful but also incredibly comfortable. It’s so much easier on my feet and knees compared to the cold, hard ceramic tiles I had before. Amazing product and beautiful colour!!

Great product!

I used these floors to renovate my salon and it was the perfect choice! They were easy to install and very comfortable to work on as a hairdresser as opposed to a hard ceramic material. They made the place look way more modern and I am very happy with the results!

I went to pick up the product at their warehouse and was surprised by how heavy the whole package was (had to make 2 trips). But after installing it, I now understand that the weight helps the planks stay securely in place without needing clips, and the end result looks great.

We purchased a new home and had to redo the whole flooring on the first floor. It took us about a weekend to install as we have a 3 bedroom floor and absolutely no experience in flooring installation. We saved a ton on labor costs and we’re proud of the result.
